Lightly Smoked Salmon and Leek Quiche

A delicious treat!

  1. Pre-cook pie crust according to the directions of the crust, until golden brown and allow to cool. Set aside and bring your oven temperature to 375F
  2. Remove MOWI  Lightly Smoked Salmon from the package and cook in an air fryer or oven until fully cooked. Remove skin and use a fork to break it up into pieces. Set aside.
  3. In a sautépan add butter and heat to medium-high heat. Cook leeks until golde brown. Set aside.
  4. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, egg yolk, milk, heavy cream and 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Once combined add salmon and leeks. Carefully pour mixture onto cooked pie shell and use a spoon or spatula to evenly distribute everything in the pie shell.
  5. Place pie onto a baking sheet and into the oven, in case any of the mixture overflow as it cooks.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until pie is set and allow to cool slightly before serving with a salad.
  7. Serves 4
